Upwards, downwards, twirl and prance
Round and round, dance, dance, dance
Pull the strings and tug the wires
The fool lives to please its sire
Cast my mask to jest or cry
I will obey without a sigh
It won't be long before I fade
My colors pale and the strings fray
Cast my mask to slumber deep
And slowly fall into my dreams....

I really like reading these poems. Are they original? I was writing, hit a dead spot and found your site. The poems inspired me. They are very beautiful. Thank you for sharing them.
